Blanket Ta-dah!
I just checked my older posts and realized that it took me almost 3 months to finish this blanket.
I was close to finishing for sooooo long, that I craved to see it finished but it didn’t.( I find very little time to crochet and now our working hours has changed ;I do not know when I will finish my elder son’s blanket I started few days earlier this time.)
But first I have to apologize for the quality of the photos; I took them with my mobile; could’n wait to show you my latest work.
So,here it is: Ta-dah!
I did a simple picot edge to finish.
And the owner of the blanket with his blanket…
I hope you all have a lovely day too…

it is springtime!
Hello Lovely People!
I am very happy to announce that spring is here!
When we were kids my dad used to tell us that if the almond trees start to blossom,it means spring is coming.
Ok,this is not almond tree blossom, but we do not have an almond tree in our garden. I think this is a peach tree blossom; I am not sure though.
The field opposite my parent’s house looks like this:
While my Little Man enjoyed this
On Sunday we were not that lucky though. I could only take these photos.

new project ideas
Hello!
Today,we are having one of the last winter days.
It is rainy and cold. But I LOVE winter and rain because we will not see such a scene for the coming 9 months…
When the weather is rainy, I feel like crocheting and never get tired of it.
So today,I tried The Circle of Friends Square pattern.
I will write the details of these patterns later because I need to go and pick up my Little One from kindergarten now.
See you soon !

New project ideas
Hello!
I am still searching the ‘ perfect pattern’ for my new project. Yesterday I tried two patterns:
This pattern is from http://www.garnstudio.com. They have lovely – gorgeous-wonderful-fantastic! patterns; both knit and crochet.
I did a change in the last row in this pattern though. Now instead of one project idea , I have two perfect project ideas!!!!
This pattern is from ‘rosehip’. Such a wonderful pattern; I got carried away and already made six of them!
And as I have mentioned red carnations in my last post,I have received some for the ‘International women’s day’ yesterday.
I hope you all have a nice day!

pink monday; carnations
Honestly; I never liked carnations. They were everywhere! Especially the red ones….Until there was this episode of SATC where SJP- Carrie- ‘s boyfriend Berger breaks up with her and there were pink carnations. There they were !
After that episode I started paying attention to pink carnations and I now think that they are beatiful.
I am very close to finishing my current blanket project and I have started looking for a future project idea. Last night I tried this pattern I have found on the internet from a Japanese Craft Book.
I haven’t decided yet.I am still searching for the perfect pattern and perfect project.
I hope you all have a lovely week.
