Hello Dear Friends,
For the last couple of weeks, I have been working on a new project; a hexagons blanket. This will be the first blanket crocheted for myself if I can finish it. Oh! It is taking such a long time….I am not half-way yet and I feel exhausted already…Let me show you how it looks like

ta-dah!
Hello!
I am sooooo happy today because I finally finished my eldest son’s blanket.
And now I am working on my youngest son’s blanket at full speed. Here is the progress I have achieved so far:
I have made such colour combinations ; I cannot think of a way how to put them together in a nice way…
I have calculated that I will need approximately 90 squares to finish this blanket which is intended for his small bed in his grand-parents house. I have done 45 squares up till now so I am half way through.
Hope to be with you with another ta-dah! post soon.
Until then, goodbye.

colour explosion
Hello!
For the last couple of weeks , I have been quietly working on two new blanket projects. The blankets will be for my boys.
Here is the blanket for my elder son:
The colours used are his choice and he wanted a manly blanket so I went for classical granny square. The yarn is 100% acrylic.
The second blanket is for my younger son. I wanted a summery blanket so I am using mercerized cotton.
The colours of this yarn are so yummy! I love to work with this yarn.
The pattern is Priscilla Hewitt’s’ sunburst granny square’ pattern.
I hope to be with you with a ‘Ta-dah!’ post soon. Till then, take care….

Blanket Ta-dah!
I just checked my older posts and realized that it took me almost 3 months to finish this blanket.
I was close to finishing for sooooo long, that I craved to see it finished but it didn’t.( I find very little time to crochet and now our working hours has changed ;I do not know when I will finish my elder son’s blanket I started few days earlier this time.)
But first I have to apologize for the quality of the photos; I took them with my mobile; could’n wait to show you my latest work.
So,here it is: Ta-dah!
I did a simple picot edge to finish.
And the owner of the blanket with his blanket…
I hope you all have a lovely day too…

New project ideas
Hello!
I am still searching the ‘ perfect pattern’ for my new project. Yesterday I tried two patterns:
This pattern is from http://www.garnstudio.com. They have lovely – gorgeous-wonderful-fantastic! patterns; both knit and crochet.
I did a change in the last row in this pattern though. Now instead of one project idea , I have two perfect project ideas!!!!
This pattern is from ‘rosehip’. Such a wonderful pattern; I got carried away and already made six of them!
And as I have mentioned red carnations in my last post,I have received some for the ‘International women’s day’ yesterday.
I hope you all have a nice day!
